How To Use This Site
Welcome to the new and improved Featurebank website! Whether you're an existing United Media Customer or represent a publication that's interested in becoming a United Media Customer, using the new Featurebank is incredibly easy.
On this page, we explain all the things you need to know to help you retrieve the content you currently subscribe to or help you get more information about one of our many Features.

Current United Media Customers
If you're already a customer of United Media, you've probably used our old Featurebank website before. As you can see, the new website is very different, with lots more information about all of our present Features, along with exciting news about upcoming Titles and Specials, plus loads of Help, Sales, and Customer Support, always right at your fingertips.
Even though we crammed our new website with tons of great, new stuff for you to see, we worked very hard to make sure the new Featurebank website is still as easy and as fast to use as the old website was. So, to get to the content that you want right away:
(1) When you first come to the new Featurebank, in your web browser's "Favorites" or "Bookmarks" menu option, make sure you add our new website address to your list of faves:
By adding our URL to your list, you can be sure you always go to the right place for your content and that it's as easy as a single click to get here. But don't worry though, the old www.featurebank.com address will still always work, it'll just be one extra click away!
(2) Once you're here, you'll want to log-in to your Account. To do that, in the upper right-hand corner of the website, enter your existing Username in the first empty field on top. Then enter your Password in the second empty field, right below the first. Once you're done, click the "GO" button on the side. We made sure to keep all of the Usernames and Passwords for our existing Customers that exact same as before. If you're having trouble logging-in with them here or can't remember what they were, click on either the "Help and FAQs" or "Customer Service" links for more information or assistance.
(3) After you've succesfully logged-in, the first page you will come to will be your "My Downloads" page. This is the page you will probably end up using the most!
(4) Besides being able to get your content downloads here, you can get the most up-to-date Notices about Feature Updates, Alerts, and Corrections that have just been posted by the staff at United Media.Click on the link near the top of your My Downloads page to see any Notices posted today or in the past week.
You can also always click on the same link located in the left-side of every web page to see our Feature Notices, in the hard-to-miss, bright orange box!
When you've finished checking out the Feature Notices, go back to My Downloads by clicking the link at the top of the page or on the left-side.
(5) Once you're back in My Downloads, scroll down until you see three columns of orange-colored links. These links form the complete list of Features that you are currently subscribed to in your Account, and made available to your group on Featurebank. To get to the Feature that you want to download the files for, click on the Title you want; you'll then be taken to the right location farther down the page automatically.
(6) When you've jumped down to the Feature you want, you'll see its Title, followed by a number of blue-colored links. These blue links are the individual files for the Feature content that you can download to use. Each link will be identified by a code referring to the Feature and dated by 2-digit-year then 2-digit-month and 2-digit-date. There sometimes will be an additional suffix for informational purposes in the file. Otherwise, the filename will end with a "dot" then the file format, usually 3 letters long.
(7) Click on a blue link to begin downloading the file. With most web browsers, you will see a pop-up window similar to the one below appear, offering an option to "open" the file right way to see or read it, or "save" it to your computer for viewing and use later. Either option works: choose the one that best suits your needs.
(8) If you decide to "save" the file, another window will open that will ask you to select where want to save it to. Find the location on your computer or on your network that you want to store the file then click the "Save" button.
(9) After you've downloaded all the files you wanted from a specific Feature, all you then have to do is click on any of the "Back to Top" links on the page. "Back to Top" will shoot you right back up to the list of your subscribed Titles. Once back there, just click on another Feature to go back down and get more files to download. Keep doing that until you're done, then either keep browsing the site for great new Titles to consider for your publication, or log-out and come back again later. It's as easy as that!
New United Media Customers
If you're absolutely new to Featurebank and United Media, then all we can say is: Welcome! We hope you like the new website, and that you take your time and stay for awhile. Your best bet is to start with our Home Page, where you can learn about some of our most popular Titles, as well as some of the newest addtions to our continually growing family of great Features, all sure to be a hit with our customers, and their customers too.
Go on from there to one of our main categories of available Feature Types. Choose any Type that interests you, be it Comics, Columns, Editorial Cartoons, or something else. Under each Feature Type page, you'll find that there are even more sub-categories to choose from, giving you a convenient and logical drilldown to get to the content that you really want to see and find out more about.
After you've browsed a Category Type, gone through its sub-Categories, and found a Title you're interested in, go to that Feature's main page. Most Feature pages will offer a history or description of it and its creator, along with both a low and high resolution image of the author. You can also find out what specific United Media syndicate the Feature belongs to, plus your options for purchasing it. The majority of our Titles will show previews of recent editions of the Feature, and additional Samples of older, evergreen editions.
